Getting Out Of A Workout Slump

I’ve started to hate working out. And it’s not because I don’t like to exercise. I’ve begun to dislike fitness because it’s become boring and mundane.
I used to be a member of Equinox and while I loved the gym and amenities, the class schedule just didn’t work with my job. So I’ve found myself struggling to find something that would re-inspire me on my fitness journey.
It wasn’t until I stopped and thought about what i used to do before the gym, that a light bulb went off. My fitness slump was over and I realized a jump rope and my yoga mat were all that I needed.
 We all go through phases of stagnancy and it’s ok to have a little slump now and then. It’s completely normal. But don’t get stuck in a rut. Find different ways to get inspired. Visit Pinterest, do a Google search, type some hashtags into Instagram to get back into the groove.
There are so many resources we can use to motivate and re-ignite that fire within us. Take it one day at a time and if need be, find an accountability partner. You can be your biggest fan or your own worst enemy.
